And thats no surprise to me, if I was asked out of the blue which an officer was more likely to die in I would say a car crash the time spent in cars vs. shootouts is not even comparable. Now if it was they where more likely to die on the way to a call involving a gun that'd be a whole diff. statistic, although it still wouldn't be "cool" it would make you take a step back and think about it all. just my .02
