Beretta Brigadier Model 96D
Buddy of mine is retired state cop. He is asking me if I would be interested in purchasing the Beretta Brigadier Model 96D in 40 caliber, that he purchased off the PSP when they changed weapons. It was his carry weapon then. He says it has the PSP stamp on it. It comes with 3 magazines. He is asking $400. Wanted to know if this is a good deal. And is this a decent weapon.

I wrote back and told him I will take it. Gun Porn will be coming once we can get together and do the transfer. Thanks for the input everyone. I knew nothing about this pistol.

Re: Beretta Brigadier Model 96D
The price tag the PSP was selling the pistols to the troopers if they opted to buy their own was around $270.00.This included the 3 magazines issued to them and night sights.I bought one myself and also got the PSP issued holster and extra magazine holder,no extra charge.

Re: Beretta Brigadier Model 96D
Got mine for their cost, but did not get the holster or spare magazine holder.
On plus side I did get a higher-up's gun that looks like it was barely used. Grips are in excellent condition.
Man this thing is awesome!
Only downside is that I also fired a buddy's S&W M&P .40 and noticed that his is lighter and carries more ammo. It also shot well, but did cost 2x as much.
It also doesnt have a snazzy PSP logo on the side.
