Does anyone have a good website or other source for handgun safes ? The last site I knew of www.handgunsafe.com no longer makes them, it appears they will carrying some other products ! Lockboxes I think.

I should have been more specific! at any rate I am now in the market for a small safe to safely store two hand guns and I don't need a large safe that needs to havet floor reinforced and be installed by professionals! Ed |

Here is what handgunsafe.com looked like in June of this year, seemingly the last time it was updated before it headed in a different direction.

All depends on exactly what you're looking for.
Portability? High Security? Combination only, no key or electronic lock (batteries?)? I use regular floor safes that'll need the concrete floor sawed out to move them...for portable security with handguns (especially when travelling into Communist territories like New York, New Jersey, Maryland, etc.), I use a Stack-On two-gun strongbox. It does have an electronic lock with key backup, and you'll need to change the batteries about every six-eight months. That being said, when travelling, no cop in his right mind cannot say that I didn't have my guns SECURELY locked within the trunk. I really like mine - three tries and out for bad combination tries, then must be opened with the key. I also have a GunVault double gun handsafe, but that model does eat batteries every three months. www.stack-on.com is the site for those safes/strong boxes. You can get them at Gander, Cabela's, etc. I'm not impressed with their large safes, but the smaller ones are fairly decent for the money. Good luck in the hunt....
