Where else but the PRNJ (People's Republic of New Jermany). I'm so sick of these communists/socialists it isn't funny any more....
I'm waiting for them to reap what they sow, but just for added benefit (and cause it makes me feel better), a pox on them and their ilk....

A minor point, but insertions of this kind are NEVER included in any kind of permanent record. It is certainly an over reaction but a day off will never hurt the kid.

Nope. not really... but it gets the anti-gun message across to the kid without raising too many eyebrows.

Go ahead and ask him WHY he was suspended... "Because I drew a gun, and guns are BAD."

Nah, that didn't hurt him a bit.

I think what is important here is for parents to keep a level head.

I'm fully prepared for my kid to get suspended when the day comes that they stand up for themselves. I'm planning a big pat on the back for doing so. The parents need to treat this as what it was. Maybe have a talk with the kid, if they have not already, that guns are not toys.

Emptymag... You do have a good point.

LAST WEEK one of my jr. high students asked me why it is OK for students (in our school) to read gun magazines but not to draw pictures of them. I told him that the only difference might be if the drawing depicted an act of violence against a particular person.

Our gun culture here is very positive. In fact, we have one of the state's few very active shooting teams!

Again, you are right. The education (propaganda) against guns is very subtle and pervasive.
