Default Diamond bows by bowtech

I am hearing alot of good things about them. But I have a few questions and am in need of opinion for my first(next year) archery season.

Does anyone own a Bowtech or Diamond series of bow?

If so, what is your level of quality rating on the bow?
Any issues or problems?

Also I am in need of another opinion yet.

I have an older Hoyt bow that some of you may have seen in the classified.

I would love to use this bow but the draw length is way too long. I don't know if I can get replacement cams for it or not. I paid 250 bucks for the bow about a year ago. It is in excellent condition. My question is, should I spend the extra money to try and update something that is that old(8+years) or should I just start fresh and go buy the Diamond bow that I want(Diamond Black Ice)?

The New bow runs about 700 bucks and to fix the other bow is going to probably run anywhere from 150-300 bucks.

Any suggestions?
