Default Great old TV spot for toy .38 snub & shoulder rig!

This is great! Wish I'd have had one as a kid. Could you imagine the uproar if this were on TV today?

Man, I forgot about that. It was the best. The green sticky caps were pretty loud, too. The shoulder holster was stiff plastic. Not very comfortable but real ones aren't either. Wonder if it is in the attic.

Thanks for the memory.

That's pretty cool. I didn't have one of those but had the Johnny Eagle Lieutenant set and some Man From Uncle stuff.

I got a CHiPs play set when I turned about five or six. It had a holster, revolver, badge, radio, motorcycle helmet. It went perfect with my CHiPs Big Wheel. I kicked so much ass in the neighborhood with that. Looking back, I had a ton of play guns. How about the lever action rifle that cocked air and made a shooting noise when fired? An old lady once asked me if I was firing carrots into her pool with it. THen there were the cap guns. Both revolvers with the "moon clip" rounds, and the others that used the rolls of paper caps. I think everyone soon found out that a roll of caps and a rock or their old man's hammer led to hours of enjoyment. I also remember rolling out a whole roll of paper caps and scraping across it with a rock. It was like a fuse burning. And who can forget that great smell?????

Want to hear something sad... My son is the only boy on our street that has cap guns. I had an arsenal when I was his age.
