Default GOP 10-9-07 Debate Transcript

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB119196048730753698.html

If not for Ron Paul, I won't be voting for a Republican for 2008. These guys are all a complete and utter joke. This is the best the party can come up with? None of these guys have a clue aside from Ron Paul? The economy is booming? Really, for who, Wallstreet and millionaires? Certainly not for the middle class. Inflation is killing us. I doubt any of the Republican darlings knows what a gallon of milk costs.

I also loved the section about just going ahead and attacking a sovereign nation without approval.

Seriously, these jerks can sit and spin. This is not the party I've voted for in the past, I didn't leave them, they left me.

While I think Tancredo is generally an idiot, he has managed to say one, very bright and honest thing:

Quote:
Mr. Tancredo, would you pledge now to support the nominee of your party?

Mr. Tancredo: You know, I've said, I don't know how many times, that I am absolutely tired and sick and tired of being forced to go to the polls and say I'm going to make this choice between the lesser of two evils. I really don't intend to do that again.

I am hoping, of course, that whoever we nominate will be the principled flag carrier for the Republican Party. But if that is not the case, no, then I will not support them.

I'm sick and tired of Paul showing up and not being asked any questions.

Rudy is an idiot and everyone seems to love him.

Personally I think Thompson should have skipped this one also.

If the choice is between Hitlery and any of the Rs then there really is no choice. I will once again have to hold my nose and vote for the R. I can't place a vote, or not vote, that in any manner that will put her in office. To paraphrase a fomer President, "Not gonna do it."

Yep, One of these men has written for the Mises Institute. Guess which one.

No one else on that stage knows a damn thing about money or the economy.

If it comes down to a race between anyone who isn't Ron Paul versus someone who isn't Ron Paul, i'm voting libertarian again. I won't wilfully vote for socialism or fascism. "don't give me any bullshit about a vote for so-and-so is a vote for whoever. If you want to ask me who i'd vote for if i was forced to choose between the lesser of two evils, I'd be forced to vote with bullets.
