S&W mfg dates and sigma recall

How do i read the date of mfg on the 686 -357? Also was there a recall on the 40 cal S&W Sigma.

I hope you don't own a sigma...talk about a glock wannabe...what a POS. No offense if you own one...but I could never bring myself to sell someone one when I worked at the gun shop...if a customer had under $300 to spend...I'd steer them to a bersa or a makarov....much better pistols for less than a sigma.

As Mike stated...just call S&W and talk to them about any recalls and manufa. dates.

I know nothing about the sigmas but the recall on the 686's had nothing to do with manufacture dates. The revolvers that the recall applied to are the 686 dash nothing and some of the 686-1s. It was a recall on the firing pin bushings.

It's just off route 13 near the turnpike entrance in bucks county.
