Mine went like this....

Friday evening, 4 hours ---- Went over firearms, types of firearms (single action, double action, sa/da) went over different calibers, went over FMJ's and JHP's. Instructor had several firearms and it was basically a show and tell type deal.

Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours each day------ Range days. Saturday morning, we met at the range. Instructors asked us to make our pistols clear and safe and placed them on table. They inspected the firearm and recorded make/model/caliber/serial #. One by one the pistols were returned to the owners. The night before, the instructor stated that we should have our duty gear for both days on the range. I did not have duty gear at that time, he said that was fine, just bring a holster and mag holder, which I hide. We practiced shooting all of Saturday and first half of Sunday. After lunch on Sunday, we shot to qualify.

Following Friday ---4 hours.... Started talking about use of force and PA laws reagrding use of force.

Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours each day----- Continued with PA laws on use of force and also covered using batons and handcuffs, but did not get certified in them. Sunday morning we reviewed what we lkearned in the last day and half and after lunch Sunday, reviewed some more and took a test. After everyone was done, they graded all the tests and gave you your score before leaving.

Now this was the way my classes were run, I have heard them run different ways, so dont go by what I just posted. but that was the way it went for me.

If you dont have duty gear, at least buy a holster and mag pouch made for your pistol.

I know that Dunbar wears all black, but there shirts dont say anything on the back of them.

I dont know about the "Agent" thing though.

The school that’s conducting the class should have sent you information on what to bring. I was instructed to bring 250rnds of ammo, ear and eye protection, cleaning kit (never had to use..at the class/range that is), a strong hip-type holster, atleast 2 magazines, and of course a functioning, legal..handgun..caliber couldn't be smaller than a .38. You'll have a blast though the course was fun for me and a nice 5 day break from work..if you've ever been on the range the course of fire qualification will be easy for you. The academic portion is also really easy. Have fun and be safe!

If I were you i'd call and find out what you need to bring. Normally you don't need anything the first day..so maybe they'll tell you what you need then? It's sorta of odd they didn't tell you what to bring. Are you renting a firearm from them to use for the course by chance? It wouldn't hurt to call them and ask what you need for the class (if anything) before you show up and figure out the hard way..
