its picnic time, its picnic time ! and your all invited !!!
and bring the kids too !

We have the "Babcock" shelter for Sunday Aug 16
on this map it is #5 behind the game preserve in section F-4
http://www.alleghenycounty.us/parks/maps/spmap.pdf

Cooking will start at 10AM with the hopes to have lunch served by noon,

Dishes welcome !

Please bring out some chairs, frisbees, and we need a volleyball net and ball.

We are holding this picnic with a dual purpose in mind
#1 Have fun in the sun and enjoy some food, fun, and fellowship
#2 Support FOAC

FOAC is THE grass roots PAC in PA fighting tooth and nail for your rights every day. We are all volunteers, and we dont pull any punches.

I will not have any mandatory anything, but it my strong suggestion that if you are not yet an FOAC member you sign up at the picnic. Membership for one year is $10. I will take your cash or check and have forms there.
Any additional donations are greatly appreciated, and I will collect those as well.

Sure, other states also have these jaw-dropping superstores for hunters and fishermen. But ours is a big 'un. Which is to say: This is a state where plenty of registered Democrats carry NRA cards. Maybe that's why we're also home to the fervent Firearms Owners Against Crime, which makes the NRA look like a pack of liberal bed-wetters. -Chis Satullo , philly.com

Default Re: South Park picnic to support FOAC

COGO's in South Park (the big one across from the car wash by the fairgrounds) has generously donated use of their ice machine for the day to keep our pop cold.

If anyone stops in there tell the manager, Carol, thankyou.

Sweet Baby Rays is no good, get some of these. Rule #1 BBQ sauce should not cover the taste of bad food. SBR is too sweet for this fat fella.

Or if you don't want to mail order you can find Stubb's BBQ sauce at the Giant eagle.

I was thinking I may do some chicken legs and wings with it and maybe we could do some chipped ham bbq as well.
