She has a Taurus Ultra lite .38 special. We both carry concealed everywhere it's legal. I was surprised to learn how gun friendly PA actually is. I am proud to live in a state where we our 2nd amendment rights seem to be protected. Hi all, Tom from New Jersey here. New to the group and to shooting targets. I was a hunter for many years, but health and age conflicts with that. I have been learning by searching topics of interest here. My dad was born in West Pittston so I have some roots in PA.

So, I'm kind of a geek. I also enjoy firearms. I currently own a Glock 19 and hope to get an AR-15 and Remington 700 .308 soon.

Hi all.

Noob here, both to hand guns and to the site. Been trap shooting and target shooting since I was 14, but pistols are new for me. And I'm not all that good a student at age 54.

Wife is former Federal LEO, she's the one who has all the skills, but I'm catching up pretty quick.

We're both sharpening or skills and waiting on concealed carry permit apps. She could re-up her federal permit, but that would require qualifying, and she's not interested in going through that again.

Well, that was a wordy intro, wasn't it.

I hope to learn a lot here.

hey, new to the scene, recently bought my first handgun (glock 23) and really like it. Since then, I find myself checking this site often, as I can usually find answers to any questions I may have at the time. I'm a little dismayed at how much it costs to keep up this hobby re: ammo prices, range prices, etc. Anyway, its alot of fun. I have my ccw permit now, and am interested in what is the best type of holster to get, best places to shoot, and by the way: Target World in chalfont blows! Don't go there
