I'm also a member of the WVCDL.
I try to stay abreast of what is going on in other states when it comes to our 2nd Amendment.
I'm very active in our group as far as contacting local and state, as well as federal officials to further our cause.
I would like to see a lot of these groups link up and share information in our fight.

Practice makes perfect and if a person is going to carry they should be profficent with their weapon because their life could depend on it. I just thought I would throw this out their to try to get a dialogue going. I do load for every caliber that I shoot. The cost of components for loading is getting pretty high but it is still cost efficent for me. Wot say you other members?

The names Mike. I am a regular member on Gunco.net but was also interested in keeping in the loop locally and hopefully getting to shoot with some of the people on here. I am only 20 but spend the majority of my time researching every type of firearm and self teaching myself basic gunsmith skills. My latest project was to complete disassemble a Maadi AK variant and put it back together with a duracoat finish. Turned out amazing. I own a couple different 91/30's, some M1895 revolvers, Beretta M9, SKS, AK, Mini-14, a couple 870's, GSG-5, some other .22LR and a couple other rifles. Stocked up on ammo whenI had the chance, so I am set there. Hope to become active with this forum as well. Thanks.

Mike

I load for all my pistols. I'm JUST getting into Rifle reloading and having some lack of success on my 8MM mauser.

The 30 carbine is shooting my handloads well, but that whole necked down case isn't working too pretty good... yet.

My range is in my backyard, so I shoot lots.

Hello to all! New guy here, and I just want to say, seems like a nice group you have here.
I have alot of interests in firearms, and especially like Glocks and S&W wheelguns. I also enjoy basic gunsmithing. I hope I can add some of my knowledge to the forums.

Hello to all. My name is Dave. Grew up in the anti-gun liberal state of MD, just over the line. Recently moved to PA 3 years ago after meeting my wife. I LOVE the fact that this is a right to carry state. I'm into smallmouth fishing and shooting and don't have enough time or money to do as much of both as I would like. I'm not a hunter but I support the sport and encourage it to flourish.

I'm just small time, having a 1911 currently and in the market for a CCW for the wife.I've owned a few rimfire rifles and shotguns in the past and I really dig the .17's. I want to add to my collection as $$$$ allows.

I hope I can add something, if nothing more then questions, to the site and pick the brains of those willing to share.

Default Re: Just saying hello (new member)

I am a new member and saw the link for the pafoa website off of open carry.com. I lurked for a little while and learned alot. Figured I might as well make an account. I am from the York PA area and have been a gun fanatic since I can remember. My older brothers got me into recreational target shooting and I was hooked. As of right now I only have one firearm which of course judging by my user name is a smith and wesson m&p 40 full size. It has been great to me so far and I have put at least 800 rounds through it so far in the short time I owned it. My fiancee and I have our liscense to carry firearms. She has a Taurus Ultra lite .38 special. We both carry concealed everywhere it's legal. I was surprised to learn how gun friendly PA actually is. I am proud to live in a state where we our 2nd amendment rights seem to be protected. Well don't mean to ramble on, I look forward to being a member of this site and hopefully meeting new people and sharing interests. Thanks for your time.

Chris
