First awesome news. And for the record. We did it!. We're not a gun lobby lining the pockets of representatives the way Rendell and others portray us. This was a grass roots effort that halted 2 out 3 bills instantly and the third, if reintroduced,
likely would need to be gutted to garner any support.

Speaking of gutted I bet Fast Eddie is flopping on the floor like a gutted whale about now.

It was worth all the money I paid for those faxes. Liberty is a bargain at any price, and the money out of pocket is an investment. Thanks to all my neighbors back home who helped.

Now this is not going to stop. The gun grabbing Hessians will steam and huff and puff. They're going to scheme and conspire to find another angle to out flank us. We're going to see the attacks against the NRA and PAFOA and the PSA. The demonizing will begin in earnest as Fast Eddie tries to spin this defeat into some-kind of vast gun-lobby conspiracy aimed at turning our streets into a warzone blah blah blah...

We need to keep it up, and not let the naysayers and usurpers win.

I'm glad to have been a part of this, doing what I could 12 hours away. PA is my home and it always will be regardless of where I am stationed.

I'm coming home for Thanksgiving. How fitting that we have a victory for this time of year, we should all be thankful.

I spent hours writing emails and letters when I first heard of this. This information was shared with fellow shooters and local club members. As far as I know, virtually all responded by sending their own emails and/or calling committee members.

This was not a "gun lobby" effort alone Eddy. This happened because free citizens are tired and fed up about having to protect their rights...not from some foreign invaders, but from our own elected representatives.

This IS awesome news guys... I half expected when I woke up that today would bring some crappy news. Thankfully, I was wrong.

The time and effort we all put into this paid off. Maybe the system isn't as screwed as it seems sometimes!

We can't relax now though - plenty more will come our way. Just glad that I have that I have you all on the same side as me.
