The Drew is right. Why just the other night I lost my car keys in a dark parking lot. And since it was too dark to see in the lot I looked for the keys out by the street under the street light.

You don't find that funny? You think I should have looked in the lot? Why?

You look where the keys were lost.
You protest where you will be heard. You get in their face. And you get in the face of the media.

Only this time please clear all posters with the leaders. Let's not give them something to use to smear us with. Limit yourselves to posters that only tell us the group you are with or the area you are from.

I half expected to be stopped by capital police on my walk back to my car.

I WILL NOT travel 60+ miles from home without a firearm, and I'm not about to leave it in the car, just for the sake of an illegally secure building. THERE IS NO LAW that says we can't carry in the capitol building... and by not providing enough storage at all entrances, they are discriminating against us lawful gunowners.

I think the ACSL needs to rethink these sessions, and have them outside the capitol building.... Then the CCW issue doesn't come into play.
It should probably come as no surprise that I agree with the above thoughts. If one doesn't really feel that way, then don't let it be nothing more than an excuse, but if you truly do feel that way, then it's a crucially valid point.

NineseveN,
That's one of your bestest-est and shortest-est post-ess-ess EVER!

It really is a shame that you have to weigh whether or not you should carry the firearm you carry every single day, because you may not be permitted to participate in an event that is being held to support your right to do so.

Then again, there are a lot of gun owners who go to these things because they are fighting for the right to keep and bear deer rifles.

I hope that anyone who can, does go to this event. Will it change a die-hard anti-gunner's mind if 30,000 people show up. Nope. But it will let them know that we aren't going to "just go away".

I'm also trying still to find someone to switch with, also calling other area stores, to see if i can bribe anyone into coming to our store.

Now, I could just call off, but then I'd be canned

Hey guys. I know I'm from Ohio, but I spend a lot of time in Pennsylvania, so some of the changes could effect me too potentially. I don't have any problems taking the day off to join you guys if you'd like. However, Harrisburg is a long drive for me, but I'd be willing to go if someone can provide me a lift to Harrisburg from Pittsburgh. If someone has no problems doing that, just post it here or PM me. Thanks.
