The Lehigh Valley Firearms Coalition is on board too. We just added the announcement to our website. The Coalition currently covers Berks, Bucks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

Let's get everybody involved to carpool and support this rally.

OK, guys. We all talk the talk. It's time to walk the walk.

Darn near all of you would take a day off work to attend a group shoot. Shouldn't you be willing to take a day off to show your support for your right to keep having those shoots and your belief in your rights to own all the different firearms that we enjoy shooting there???

Sad how this thread isn't getting very much attention. If this was a group shoot thread, we would be on Post Number 200 by now. And guys would be trading days off or making plans to call off sick.

There isn't a lot to say at this time. Last night after I got the message, I contacted PMSC president about possible buses. He is also on the board (I think) of ACSL and said that they have a meeting Thursday night and he will find out information then and get back to me.

At this time, I am planning to take the day off to attend.

Some people who have an employer cannot get off, that should be understood.

Having said that, some of my closest friends will not donate time nor money to the fight, yet spend endless amounts on ammo and guns. One day, when they learn better, it will be too late.

I am self employed and will take the day off. Unfortunately I will not get paid for that day as there will be no revenue, but that is the cost of firearms freedom.

I would love to go. But I can't take off work. I don't have any vacation left. I wish I could, but I can't just go. Sorry. I would be there if it fit my schedule. But making money comes first.

I hate to say this but I don't see the point of these things..

What we need to do is get organized when it comes to voting and get rid of everyone not doing their part. It doesn't matter how many times you show up or how much you call them. People like Nailor make up there mind and they follow the lobbyists. The only way to change things is to get them out..

Yes the election is the way to change things, agreed. However we have swayed a few minds in the past through these meetings and the support we show will keep our current friends on board. In my humble opinion, these rallies are just as important are contacting our legislators.

We will not win every battle, especially if in 2008 we lose big at the Federal level, but I rather go down fighting than sitting on the side lines.

I agree with voting them out. But I think that a waste of time. It isn't.

If we have 50 people show. We get a bit of attention. If we have 500 people show. We raise eyebrows. If you have 5000 people show. Even those that run realize that we are the minority. There are many more who feel the same as us, but couldn't make it. So, they realize that the next vote that comes around. May be their last.

I do believe it makes a difference.
