The Radnor Township Police Department has issued the following crime alert.:

On Monday Evening, November 16, 2009, at approximately 9:20 PM an armed robbery occurred at the Wawa Store, 151 Sugartown Road, in the Wayne Section of Radnor Township. A white male entered the store, approached the sales associate at the cash register, displayed a knife demanding the money in the register. The sales associate complied with the actor’s demand handing over the contents of the cash register. The actor fled on foot last seen walking west on Sugartown Road.

The actor is described as a white male 17-24 years of age, 150lbs., 5'6" with a thin build, short brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweat shirt, blue jeans, white/gray shoes. The actor was wearing a white cloth concealing his face at the time of the robbery

Any persons having information as to the identity of the above actor or witnessed this robbery are asked to contact the Radnor Police Department Investigations Unit at 610-688-0503.

Mr. Mayor,

I was looking at your website earlier this week and noticed Oxford recently passed Ordinance #824-2009. I writing you this email to ask if the town Solicitor confirmed this Ordinance is legal per Title 18 Section 6120? It is my belief, by passing this Ordinance, Oxford is in violation of state law.


Although I am not a resident of Oxford Borough, I live in the Oxford Area and it will not beneficial for the Oxford community for Oxford Borough to be embroiled in a costly law suit.

Oxford Area residents should contact Mayor Geoffrey Henry to get him off of Bloomberg's Mayors against illegal guns. In Bloomberg's view they are all illegal.

BURGLARY INFORMATION

Several surrounding Townships have been experiencing daytime burglaries. Information has been received that a male and female will approach residence and knock on the front door and upon receiving no answer they will proceed to the rear of the residence and force open a rear door or window.

Additional information indicates they may operate a 1993 maroon Honda Accord with damage to the front hood of the vehicle or a 1997 black Ford Expedition with chrome wheels.

Any one seeing these vehicles or persons acting in a suspicious manner please contact 9-1-1 immediately.

Vehicles are similar to the vehicles pictured in the PDF attachment.
