Perfect for any of you WWII junkies out there that want some authentic .45 cal ball for that authentic 1911... I have a couple cans of this, think I'm going to sell some off. This is coming from a family stock pile that we've had for years.....

Selling 900 rounds of WWII .45 cal ball (note: corrosive primers & steel cases) This can be either purchased in 1 complete (and sealed) spam can (600 rounds) or in individual 50 round boxes.

Asking $15.00 per box of 50.

$180 for an entire can of 600 rounds (this will be a sealed can for all you wwII collectors).

I'll also trade one whole, un-opened can (or more) towards another Sig P6, a 228 Police Trade, 226, etc.... Keep it Sig though in the pistols. I'll also trade towards a Ruger 10.22 or a heavy barrel for Remington 700 in .308 or 30-06

[Want To Sell] Egyptian Rasheed

Up for sale is a nice Egyptian Rasheed. The bore is excellent. The wood is very nice with the usual milsurp dings here and there. The bayonet fits over the muzzle and locks tight. I've shot this twice and it shoots great. Good accuracy and it ran with no issues. You will see in the one pic uneven bluing wear with a distinctive line on the recoil spring cover. This is how I bought it. The reason I'm selling is to fund another project. The price is $625 shipped in the CONUS to a 03 C&R or 01 FFL.

Is it just me, or does it seem like the ammo/reloading section has gone a little cold? It seems like there are rarely new threads and not many responses. Of all the sections of the forum, this is generally my favorite to discuss. Anyone else notice this?

Does anyone know where a used Beretta 92fs is?

I am in Lancaster county but if anyone comes across a used Beretta 92fs at their local shop please let me know. All the stores in my area told me that they usually have at least one around but not at this time. I have located one but it is priced a little high for the condition its in. Im willing to travel a little as I need to burn some vacation days anyway. Thanks, Brian

I guess my little rant of the day.

I've been in the market for a new pistol. More along the lines of a Sig or a 1911 of some sort. Some of you may have seen the thread in the "Pistols" fourm.

While shopping online and gathering prices, I also stopped at my local gun stores as well as the "Mom & Pops" variants. I stopped in at this particular gun store on my way to work. I work for the PLCB (Liquor Store) so it requires buisness attire (Slacks, Tie, Etc).

When I went in there was a single customer infront of me and the gentleman behind the counter helping him. (One employee and thats the owner) I browsed around and wanted to look at a particular Sig P220 he had for sale used. Remember used, this is important.

I am extremely respectful when it comes to people I don't know. I had only been in this shop once before. So I waited my turn and I asked to see the Sig. Good condition, extremely dirty, asking price of 995 Used. Knowing the pistol retails anywhere from 875-950 new, I knew this was a little much. I simply stated in my exact words "Is there any wiggle room on the price?" I am fine with someone making a little money to support their buisness. Not a complete gouge.

He said " Nope, it is what it is." Then his phone rang. I sat this pistol back down and he looked up at me, with a sarcastic tone and said "Anything else?" I said "What about the Green Springfield Gi you have over there." It was the only green 1911 in the case. "About a thousand" and didn't pay any attention to anything. He didn't even look in the case.

The gun retails for between 550-650.

I know this encounter may seem trivial but I was extremely pissed off. I felt like since I was young and dressed well, that I was "too good" to be in the store looking at expensive pistols. That I was wasting his time. Mind you if we could've come to an agreement. I would've bought the Sig. Cash in wallet.

But since I was young I was stereo-typed and no respect given.

Perhaps I need to worry about other things.

MAJOR shotgun "stopping power"

Anyone ever see these shotgun expanding slugs??

This is 12ga. DDupleks 2 3/4" 1 1/8oz Expanding Shotgun Ammo. The Hexolit 32 is a variation of the DUPO28 and is also a slug with an extremely enormous impact effect. When hitting the body, the frontal part of the slug instantly increases from 18.5 to 36-38 mm in diameter � this is the largest slug expansion diameter ever known. It creates an entrance hole with a 3.5 cm diameter, hits powerfully with all its expansion area and disintegrates into six symmetric splinters - essentially becoming six individual blades. The splinter cone causes an extensive area of damage. More FFLs needed in Pittsburgh area?

I'm from eastern part of Allegheny county and there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of FFLs in my area. I'm near Anthony Arms, but they charge $50 for a transfer, which is about double the going rate.

I used to love going to Todd @ GROPA, but he has been gone more than a year now. I know he is talking about coming back, but he leaves a big hole in the transfer market in the mean time.

I know the qualifications for getting an FFL have really tightened up on "kitchen-table" dealers. I have a unique opportunity in that I own a commercial building that I could partially dedicate to the task of doing transfers in an economical manner. I'm curious if anyone sees an actual need or demand for this service or if I'm just wasting my time and somehow missing a bunch of FFL dealers that can help me transfer at a reasonable rate.

Obviously, I realize that there is not huge money in this and this wouldn't be a primary business for me... just a way to help people in the area that are having the same problems that I'm having finding a reliable and reasonably priced place to complete a transfer.

Thoughts?
