Default Utah Concealed Carry Class

Hello,

Keystone Gun Club will host a Utah Concealed Carry Permit Class on Saturday February 25, 2012 from 5pm - 9pm. The class is being taught by Lethal Force. If you're interested or know anyone who is, please visit Keystone's website at: www.keystonegun.com. On the homepage you'll find a link to their website, where you may find more detailed information on the course, ask questions or to reserve your seat.

Lastly, for those who visited the club before or were once members, we made major improvements to the range and 1st floor within the last year (plan on adding new pics on the website). We are working on renovating the upstairs to host more events, as well as, provisions for indoor archery for those interested. We welcome all to stop by during open range nights or special shoot nights to either look around, shoot or say hey.

Carry in Ohio for starters.

For your second question;

from http://publicsafety.utah.gov/bci/CFnewapp.html

Quote:
Non-resident proof of permit. If you reside in a state that recognizes the validity
of the Utah CFP or has reciprocity with Utah, you must obtain a CFP or CCW from your home
state and submit a copy of it with your application for a Utah permit. For a list of reciprocal
states click here. Residency will be determined by your state-issued identification. If your
state does not recognize the Utah permit this does not apply.

Is this the best secondary permit to have as a PA resident? I looked at the Arizona one but it gets fuzzy with fees/different states etc. and Florida looks like more $$. Is the Utah permit the choice of most?

Looking at Ohio in case my daughter goes to grad school there..

You'll get support for either one. I have both. Got Utah first. Enjoyed the class and feel it's worth the cost. We covered everything from gun safety, Utah law, situational awareness and even what to do if you needed to use your weapon. It was a very informative class and gave you alot to think about. Left class with application filled out and finger prints. Stopped got a photo and mailed that night.

Keep in mind if you end up traveling in Ohio you must inform. I've informed twice without any issue after showing my permits.
