Cumberland Acutally NFA Friendly?
Simple questions... PAFOA lists Cumberland as an "NFA Friendly" county.
Can anybody confirm this? Has anyone recently had CLEO approval for an NFA transfer (I assume Sheriff Ronny Anderson)?
I've heard rumors going both ways... I'd really like to take the county temperature on this before I try a phone call or face to face.
If anybody has any thoughts, please let me know. Thanks!

Re: Cumberland Acutally NFA Friendly?
I've heard that Cumberland isn't the "NFA-friendliest" county around, but that was before Ronnie Anderson became Sheriff, so maybe that's changed. Even if Sheriff Anderson doesn't like signing-off on the forms for NFA, I know guys who have gotten around the CLEO signature requirement by using NFA trusts.

Before contacting the county sheriff, contact your local township police. My township police dept are pro gun including the chief. They signed off and fingerprinted me for free with no appointment necessary, I was told to just stop by during normal business hours.
