Default DELCO SHERIFF'S GUN PERMIT PAMPHLET 3rd EDITION

OK, so it's still not perfect, he still calls the license a permit, and the privacy issue is still blatantly disregarded with "gun permit gun safety" written on both outer folds of the mailed pamphlet.

However, some good changes have come about, Open Carry is mentioned as well as reciprocity with other states. He's also maintaining a few more convienant hours to apply/renew the LTCF.

Here's what we have this year, my scanner doesn't work so bear with the photo's.

Looks to me like political propaganda--especially how the cover of the mailer contains a massive photo of your sheriff--complete with his name, of course.

Sort of serves as a reminder that, "Joe McGinn" is your sheriff.

He says open carry is illegal in Philadelphia.

Good catch... In any case, I don't get the vibe like that was purposely put there--epically since there's even a section on open carry. How many other sheriffs have a blurb saying, "by the way, you can carry openly in this fine state?"

I've heard plenty of municops tell people that, "gee golly, you cannot carry concealed in Philly." Not sure why, but it's been a running theme that "you cannot carry in Philly."

Took him 2 years to come up with that crap? It should be perfect.

Yeah, he is saying that

He should have made it clear that OC in Philly is illegal, unless you have a LTCF.

I think we are getting somewhere. I will mention to him, and I know I did various times, about the permit/license issue. But making some headway, even Bill says so!!

Of course it's propaganda, but it's a hell of a site better than the first two he sent out, maybe Pa. Patriot can find the other two in the archives so you have something to compare to.

Like I said it's not perfect, but in DELCO nothing ever is, it is amazing he made the changes he did though. It's definitely a step in the right direction.

By the way good catch on the no OC in Philly, jerkin. I'll send a reminder of the actual law to him.

I'll dig them up after dinner.

Yeah, it's a lot better. True. But I still think it should be perfect by now though. And the license v permit thing is not even a biggie to me
