anyone have metal in them ie IM Nail plates etc? do you go off i have an IM nail but have been through any detectors since then lol

I've never come across a metal detector while carrying. Our courthouse doesn't have them and no stores around here have them. Our local airport doesn't have any secure areas, so none there, either.

I also have metal in me. Not enough to set it off though. Most surgical metals will not set them off. I only say that from experience, no facts.

I took my wife to the Shania Twain concert a few years ago and they were wanding people. I was carrying at four o'clock they wanded the front of me and made no bones about the knife clipped to my pocket. The never knew I was carrying, they didn't ask, and I didn't tell.
