I highly recommend this. ^^^^

Ask to speak with the acting sheriff, Chief Deputy Guarnieri.
Ask about why your application is now beyond the legal limit and that is is a violation of the crimes code for his office to not have issued/denied the license.

If all else fails, tell him you will be sending me down if they don't get you fixed up, ....they know me

I was in the same boat as you. I applied on the 21st of September and was told it would be mailed to me in 2 weeks. After 6 weeks and no permit I went to the office in person to see what was wrong and was told that my permit had already been picked up by me????? When I told the deputy I would not have been there had that been the case, he printed up a new card and handed it to me showing date of approval as 9/21. So you're best bet is to go there in person as they may have misplaced your license somewhere along the line.

More likely that they simply marked someone else pickup on the wrong line of the list.

I went to the Sheriffs office yesterday to find out about my LTCF. They had it waiting for me in a box. In fact it was issued on 09/21/09. When I asked why I was never notified I was told they are too busy and did not get around to calling anyone yet. If anyone from Luzerne County has been waiting more than 3 weeks for their LTCF I would advise them to stop in the Sheriffs office. It's probably in the box on their desk waiting for a phone call to be made. It looked to me that there was at least 100 in the box. Hope they are all not over 45 days old.
