btw, outside of a vehicle you can conceal a loaded long gun if you want (and can figure out how) without even having an LTCF. (inside a vehicle, though, even with an LTCF you cannot have a loaded long gun).

So am I to also understand... That if one had an SBR and figured out a way to conceal it, one could conceal carry it without an LTCF? And that basically, SBRs and all other weapons that don't fit the definition of "firearm" are practically unnaddressed by PA law?

SBR/SBS fit the definition of firearm and can be carried concealed with LTCF or open without. A regular barreled rifle or shotgun may be concealed without an LTCF, if you can figure out how.

Mostly yea, but not always. Do they contain a court facility?

No, you would need an LTCF to carry a concealed SBR. You can carry a concealed long rifle (16" or longer barrel), without an LTCF. SBRs (and other NFA regulated weapons) are considered firearms. Normal long rifles and shotguns are not.

Okay I think I got it...

You can CC an SBR with an LTCF or OC without an LTCF, exactly like a handgun (so vehicle carry is considered concealed and requires the license). You can carry a long-gun CC or OC, but not in a vehicle, and the LTCF doesn't affect it. Right?

So if that is the case, how do you physically GET the long-gun to and from wherever it is you intend on OC (or CC) it if vehicle carry is illegal and the LTCF doesn't cover it?

LTCFs and long guns (rifles/shotguns) are two separate issues.

Rifles/shotguns can always be carried in a vehicle, they just have to be unloaded. No license/permission slip required.

So if I understand correctly, an SBR or SBS can be carried loaded in a vehicle with a LTCF. Correct?

Yes. That's what everyone here as so patiently explained to me anyway, but I'm trying to figure it out myself.
