I don't know if it was quoted in that post anywhere... anyway, the link I gave is only the Uniform Forearms Act
Here is the court section: http://www.paopencarry.org/law/ss913.html and school: http://paopencarry.org/law/ss912.html I'm going to mirror the rest of the statutes from the OP so we can get those links fixed...

So if I'm carrying my gun CCW when I drop my kid off for school in the morning, am I in violation of the law?

You fall within a gray area. The grounds is off-limits, not just the buildings. However there is an affirmative defense for "other lawful purposes". There is no coded or case definition as to what that means, so you could very possibly be in violation, arrested and allowed to have a judge or jury decide. Of which, you could be vindicated and we'd have definition in our favor. Or you could be found guilty, fined and jailed, and the schools would be definitely off-limits until someone challenged it again later and won.
As a suggestion to my friends, stay off school grounds. Let some other person find out the hard way.

So maybe I missed it somewhere. But banks are federal buildings, correct? So no carry in banks,or am I wrong?

No. Banks are private property.
