Periods should go inside quotes ("The right of the citizens... shall not be questioned.") "Convenience" is usually split conve-nience, not conven-ience (see m-w.com) In the third "fact about concealed carry," "Ref:" is bolded; in the other three facts, it is not. In the first parenthetical comment under "Other states that honor," "permit" shouldn't be capitalized ("No permit/license is required) In the second parenthetical comment, PA's LTCF is referred to as a permit; perhaps calling it a license would be better. Also, "No non-resident" is probably unnecessary, but it can be clarified by changing it to "No non-resident licenses." Under "Facts About Open Carry," "Ref." is italicized, unlike other places in the brochure. In the third point, "reciprocal states carry license," the word "states" should have an apostrophe. In the fourth point, a period should follow "to open carry." In the fifth point, "Cities, towns and municipalities" should have a comma after "towns," to make it consistent with the first point under "Facts About Concealed Carry." Under "Disorderly Conduct," there should be no space between the last word ("actor") and the period. At the bottom of the same column, a comma is necessary after "unauthorized access." In the third column, under "Places Off-Limits," I would remove the capitalization in all the parenthetical comments ("unless authorized," "adult & juvenile," "applies to both") Under "General Facts About Firearms," a comma is necessary after "between children and parent" for the same reason as in "cities, towns, and municipalities." A period is necessary at the end of "Transporting within PA," after the case reference. The colon after "Transporting outside of PA" should be bold, for consistency. Hope this is helpful! Again, this is a great brochure; I look forward to passing out many copies.

I was in a lunchroom servicing machines and as i bent over a customer noticed the bottom half of my GLOCK Holster. I got a phone call later that evening saying i can't carry my Gun on this property anymore. Boss: "Don't carry into ***-****** anymore. Somebody saw it and got scared". Now Legally i cannot carry into that building anymore. Once the owner of the Property is apposed to you being armed they have legal right to say no. That is called Gun Control, Controlling Guns absolutely does not control crime. It simply makes the job of the law abiding citizen even harder in defense of innocence. What will the owner of a company business or corporation say if something terrible takes place in a building that they knowingly restricted Licensed Gun owners the right to carry on their property & many many lives are ended. That is the negative result of Controlling the Gun of a Law Abiding Citizen. I think your comment was just I'll informed & rushing to negative judgment. like many others. Don't be so closed minded. I'm printing that flyer. It was very helpful. Much Thanks.

Great little flyer you've done. But i do have one question.
Under you "Facts about concealed carry" section, you state that you can CC without a LTCF only in you abode, fixed business, and private property with permission, But where do you get your reference on the private property? Ive checked the firearms act and it states, - in your abode and fixed place of business, but no mention of private property. From what i can find, CC without LTCF even on your own private property let alone on someone else's with permission, would be illegal. Am i wrong here? if so, please post references, but i dont think i am. |

Having raised not one, but two smart-asses, I can only sympathize with you for some of the replies. I for one, being a newbie to this whole firearm thing, thanks you. I found the information very useful. I intend to get a LTCF (see, my kids are teaching me well!) in the near future and yes, I will carry the brochure with me. For my peace of mind & others who might question the legality of carrying.
