Are you crazy? I CC'd!!! They had clubs, spears, knives and were obviously good hunters.

87th's wife almost traded some local currency for some beads.
I had nothing to exchange for a nice antler-handled, stone-bladed knife.
We entered and left the grounds in peace.

Was it an obsidian knife? If it was, it would be black and shiny.

Oh noes, the Indians were OCing clubs, knives and spears!11!!! Good hunters= many dead animal parts all over the place!

I used to go to powwows and sell stuff and hang out with people there that I knew. Last one I went to I got into it with the guy who put it on, due to him defending this weasel of a man who tried to swindle me over a pair of wolf feet I was selling. It was also 95 in the shade and no breeze and very humid. I just lost interest in powwows after that, too much of a headache ( literally and figuratively).

Last time I did anything "Indian" was this memorial service. It was my neighbor, and the same guy who ran that last powow, so I really didn't want to go, but it became rather entertaining. The first hour someone nearby was doing some serious target shooting, including an AK. Then the people at this thing did this eagle dance song and 2 vultures started circling around LOL. I was thinking "what next, a fox pops out of the woods and pees on the sacred buffalo skull?". That didn't happen. If it had, my mother would never have gotten me to stop giggling.

Yes. I saw furs from skunk, beaver, deer, wolf, fox, bear, rabbit, and buffalo leather.

There were some nice baskets. The basket handles were antlers woven into the basket.

And there were some bear claws integrated into jewelry. The black bear vs. the kodiak was quite a comparison.

... and guess who did not show up to Court today? Gary!

In fact there was another officer there at the same time for another case against Gary drinking in public at the park. So that's two no-shows in one afternoon for Gary.

Now.. if the Judge tightens the screws appropriately this man can be locked up long enough to sober up and he can try (being a member of society) again.

That's awesome. I hope there's enough people in the city that are capable of thinking rationally and they write Steve into the Mayor's Office.

AMGibson and I were standing at some of the polling places this morning. We had quite a positive response. Voters were taking our write-in candidate instructions and returning them to us after they used them. She and I had the pleasure of the other mayoral candidate's presence at our polling place lol. good times...and then the current York City Mayor shows up to vote...more good times!
