Just got back
from Ron Marisco's office picking up my LTCF. took a week, 1 trip to hand in the app and another to pick up the permit. now comes the hard part...what caliber of 1911 do I want to carry? 10mm, 400 cor-bon or 45acp....hmmm decisions decisions...

God and JMB intended the 1911 to fire .45 ACP to do otherwise risks your mortal sould.

Don't forget the .38 Super run real nice in a 1911. With a hot 125gr. load will push the .357 pretty hard and you get 10 rds. instead of 8.
