Festival pier at Penn's Landing in Philly - OK to carry?

I'm going to a concert tomorrow night at the Festival Pier at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. Anyone ever carried to a concert there? Do they wand/pat down?

I was there last summer and it was wide open. You should be fine.

Cool, thanks. I went to a show there once before I started carrying and I don't remember if there were pat downs etc.

What is NOT permitted inside a concert at Festival Pier?
Professional Cameras, backpacks, recording devices, and chairs are NOT Permitted at Festival Pier. Umbrellas are permitted for select shows. Please call 610-784-5400 for more information.

I'm assuming if firearms weren't allowed, they'd be listed here.

Sounds like a safe assumption.

I emailed them and asked. I really don't want to stand in line to get in only to have to walk back to the car and lock the gun up and then wait in line again.

If you ask they are almost sure to tell you no, even if their policy is otherwise

There are way too many points of entry/exit down there for them to pat down and wand everyone.

For such events I have a Smartcarry holster & a 12oz scandium J frame.

If they're using a wand,wear it higher & wear a metal belt buckle.

If they're doing pat downs,I doubt they'd grab your d!%&.
