Carry your spare mags!

Meant to post this earlier but got side tracked. Currently only carry whatever my carry piece of the day will hold. It's very rural here and have no need to even carry much. I sometimes wonder if I ever needed to draw I would even remeber its there. If I were visiting a more urban area it would certainly be a consideration or a backup piece.

I mostly carry a J-frame 642 and keep a speed strip with 6 spare shots in my strong side pocket.

For autos, I carry one spare magazine if I have a doublestack, and two spares for a singlestack.

Police said they found he was carrying suspected narcotics, possibly crack cocaine and marijuana, Sunday. He also had a spare, fully loaded magazine for his gun and a full magazine in the weapon.
