You can carry his guns, he can carry yours too - concealed with a LTCF or openly.
To the OP:

Just be aware that even though there is no "Gun Registry" in PA LEOs will still try to use the state police database as one.

I've already had to "prove" that my carry gun was rightfully mine after it was confiscated by Pittsburgh PD. When I hastled the guy in charge of the gun unit for them that it wasn't in NCIC as stolen and that he couldn't hold it he got pissed and said I knew too much about stuff.

Yes, he became really annoyed. He asked who I thought I was, because I knew too much about how things are supposed to happen about guns.

Then he finally signed the release for me to get it back.

I went to the property room to pick it up.

The clerk grabbed the gun, then saw the mags full of JHP, and said "We certainly can't let you leave with these." She took them to the back and brought them back empty.

Thats over a box of JHP ammo at $19.50/box.

Then I had to walk through the north side with an empty gun.

In hindsight, I should have brought another box with me and said "Thats ok, I have more right here" after she handed the mags back to me then proceded to load them and then chamber a round.

Sounds like a good time to file a claim in small claims court, they jacked you around, see how they like it.
