WELL.........no surprise here.......... NOT ONE WORD about our picnic or the funds raised for Red Cross....There was a picture in yesterdays paper, but nothing else, no story, no comments NOTHING...

Guess that our little picnic was not as INTIMIDATING as they thought, or we didnt all ride in on horses ( since we live in the Wild West ).. or whatever, but not ONE SINGLE WORD about how much fun, laughter and caring we all had ...

Guess they think that Conyngham’s Wittig not seeking re-election, or Lack of candidates could prompt write-ins, or Hazle Township to pursue aiport hazard ordinance were all more newsworthy than the fact that we did a tremendous job organizing the get-together along with the monies raised.etc...

Well enough rants......just ONE more reason to tell them NO when they call asking if I want to subscribe to their rag......

Sounds like a good time was had by all. I really need to make an effort to attend one of the functions. Anyway, glad everything went off without a hitch and I'm happy to have been able to sponsor Mrs Pa Patriot in such a worthy cause.

Hey guys, I have a great time at the picnic. It was nice to match the faces with the usernames, Mrs. PA Patriot, PA Patriot, FNG19, 1911shooter and thelemite to name a few. I hope there are more events in the future in my area.

Yes, As I predicted the Standard Speaker has decided to crawl back in their putrid holes rather than post any articles on the final outcome of their big manufactured story... I'm tickled at this as it proves that they intentionally slandered us through the misquoting of Gnbrotz in order to create a story. Otherwise, why wouldn't they post this great news? $2000.00 raised by the gun nuts? That's amazing news. Amazing that the BIG BAD GUN PEOPLE!!! were probably the largest sponsor. More amazing in light of their prior articles about how terrible it was we were having a "picnic". Their prior article, and Brian Early, made our picnic out to be a demonstration/protest/distractions to the Red Cross.
And now that the paper and Brian Earley have been proven wrong it is suddenly not news?

Yeah, I know. I forgot the <sarcasm> tag...

Interesting facts:

Fact:
The newspaper created a controversy out of noting that caused the Red Cross a ton of grief.
Fact:
The walk organization is done by a board. Brian Earley is the chairman of that board. Earley is also the school board president.
Fact:
Brian Early is the one who made the following comments in the Standard Speaker prior to the walk.
Quote:

It's pretty obvious that the major headache the Red Cross (and we) had to endure was the result of the newspapers unethical reporting and one single person with too much influence, Brian Earley.

We did some looking around and found the Red Cross event was not advertised in any of the local periodicals that we checked. It was alo not in the WNEP weekend event list. ZERO advertisement in the Wilkes-Barre area and we could find none in the Hazleton area other than the Standard Speaker.

Seems to me the Red Cross should consider a new Walk For Life board chairman... One that might actually get results for the Red Cross rather than cause them grief.

Judy and I will be meeting with Joyce Bradbury to deliver the remainder of the funds raised Saturday. We'll have a few things to talk about with Joyce. We'll report back after that meeting.

On a personal note. I think it's pretty disgusting that a pubic official named Brian Earley, trusted with the responsibility of educating our children, is making false and slanderous comments about a group of citizens that are apparently more community minded than he himself is. To suggest that our group was going to detract from the RC walk is a pathetic and hateful comment obviously fueled by his own socio-political views (gun hater) rather than any facts.

Shame on you Standard Spreaker. Shame on you Brian Earley. Some community leader you are. Bested by a bunch of gun nuts.

I can only imagine that after the editor got a view of what was said and what actually happened, the journalist (I say this lightly) was probably forced to stop writing. The editor might have pointed out she stood out like a sore thumb with used tampon sticking out of her mouth and suppositories stuffed up her rump.

But maybe this is the only way to keep her quiet, stuff them with suppositories so they only shot when needed and when they seek blood with their wordy teeth, add a few tampons to their pie holes so they stop the bleeding.

It simply amazes me that not only did they not find a good story about men and woman carrying guns around the park after they tried to make the country believe this was some sort of 3rd world war event, but that they would also drop the red cross story simply because they would have had to admit they might have been wrong about the bunch of losers they portrayed in their lousy rag.

Here is a headline..

80 some odd killers come to a local Town Park. They invade the park with Food for every one, laughter and companionship; they then shoot a member over to the Red Cross walk where she slaughters them with a $2000+ check.
The man hunt is on for any one able to find all the victims of this slaughter, Police estimate thousands of people will be affected indirectly by the onslaught of donations to the Red Cross.

The automatic weapon of the PAFOA board killed the newspaper writer and forced them to retreat. Ammunition was sent to the slaughter from as far as Pittsburgh as evil gun laden pens where displayed and people with heavy caliber pockets shot out money to purchase them for the bloody organization that hides under the name the Red Cross.

Saturday morning the police is on high alert, they have to keep the population scared of these people invading their local park where peaceful muggings and attempts at rape usually happen. Mr. Q who prefers to remain anonymous say’s it is a scandal, people all over are stopping my commerce of drug dealings, my customers can not intimidate the locals like they would normally and the thieves and muggers simply vanished!

As the wild west gun tooting criminal free crowd settles themselves for a picnic early Saturday morning it was simple to see, there would be no crime in the area. A few local rednecks dared to meet with the mobsters of PAFOA to see what all the fuss was about, they where immediately assaulted with the smell of beans and other foods getting cooked, one person said he almost died from all the food he ingested while others said there could have been more beans.

When newspaper reporters tried to reach the police, they found no one in the office, no e-mails where returned making it obvious the police where out of town as usual when needed. Local journalist where scared out of town and it is feared the news paper might have to close down until their reporters find a story to talk about.
Other casualties, a man weighing over 250 pounds said his arm got twisted by a menacing child until he gave her the evil toy gun, he was then subjected to eating hot dogs, chilly and other assorted foods until it almost came out his ears.. He was reported saying it was almost like that bay where people are held prisoners…

While some of the people there whipped out their camera and started to shoot randomly at innocent bystanders one image was captured and it is clear to see the distress in the man’s eyes as he shouts out, Move over, I am going to Fart!!!

It is important to mention, no one crapped their pants, a few squirrels looked as their cousins where being eaten up by 2 legged cannibals, and the fart emitted by the wild looking man with the scar on his head was not taxed as a green gas.

Other important fact to mention, this wild group all got home safely and we should caution that they may repeat this again soon…
