Sorry I couldn't make it, but I'm stuck working day shift. I did manage to sneak out and get in a quick 100rds of practice before the rain started!

Maybe I'll make the next one.

I was thinking that I might be over this crap (head like a party balloon, snuffy and stuffy), but I'm not. Pennsy, forgive me for not managing to take care of that eponymous task that you mentioned in your PM. For early in the morning, it was quite witty.

NOT saying it was DC Dalton of course... Your not missing ANY spoons?

Edit to add:

I don’t know about where this Picnic is happening, but here in Pittsburgh and area, it is quite nice out.

Of course this is Pennsylvania, and 5 miles down the highway there might be 4 feet of snow, who knows!

Hope you guys had a beautiful day, Made us all proud, and that we raised a bundle for the Red Cross.

Now we know the Red Cross will be doing this again next year, let’s start pledging for that. I propose every person who uses PAFOA as a writing tool to get their daily frustrations out should be able to put at least $10 in the pot for next years Red Cross event where PAFOA will hand them the largest check they have seen in a long while.

Of the nearly 20K Pennsylvanians registered to write on PAFOA, if only ¼ of is gave $10.00 that would be nearly $50K

What is $10? I mean I know what it is, but you also know that should you need blood after an accident a $10 donation by some one in the past could very well be what saves your life right?

Although I would never agree to give up $10 on a tax to our dear government if they said we HAD to, I would gladly volunteer $10 to the Red Cross. Think about it this way, .050 cents per week, less then a penny per day, and we could reverse this whole situation to where Firearm owners across Pennsylvania get to say the final word to the news agency there and prove that we are better then just a bunch of Yahoo’s who want to carry our guns around.

In Preperation for Next years Red Cross drive, I pledge $10 and will look at making more pens (4 or more)

I live a good distance from both of them, but they have an accomplice in my area... Mnt Jack... Now him I have to worry about. But on the good side, i can make peace by selling them a pen some day Actually Mnt Jack already has one, Pennsy can make his own... I just have to worry about DC and Tootie will soften him up a bit before he gets here if she is missing a spoon...

ALL I have to do is remember that he can not walk over dogs.. I have 2 here for self protection

My fearless DC Dalton trippers! They are patiently waiting on him!

On the scene update....

Everything went great, a little rain, but we're better than that
We're still hanging out and socializing. Had a lot of locals come by and say "hi".

Now, the big news... All said and done, between the walk sponsors and auctions, we raised

$2000.00 +
for the Red Cross.

Good job everyone, seriously good job. Well, I'll let everyone else post the rest of story and I'll update the walk $ totals later. Judy has an interesting account to tell about her walk participation I need to get back to eating some more of this food so we do not have to pack it back out

Just got home. I have to say, there was some serious food and deserts there. Someone's going to have leftovers.

Saw some people I met at pizza shop in Lancaster along with meeting a few new people. Got to put faces with Mr & Mrs PA Patriot, dc Dalton, Pro2A, fingers80002, stephpd, xd40 jim, 1911shooter, SIG-Girl, and Wild Bill Klinton.

My daughter found every with which she spoke very nice, but was disappointed that there weren't any other teenagers there.
