The "right to smoke" is not protected by state law.

Try banning someone for race, color, religion, etc. Don't misunderstand, I am not saying that gun owners are a "protected class". What I am saying is that on municipal property (except courthouses) state law protects our right to carry a firearm. Period.

Even if they found a way to prohibit firearms as a condition of participation, it wouldn't solve their problem. They would still not be able to bar firearms from the property for non-participants. Maybe my kid doesn't play, but my niece or my neighbor's kid does. Guess what - I'll be armed at the park - as I usually am - because the law not only permits me to do so, but protects that choice if I make it.

Well good for you. I think watching a game means you are participating. I think there are some people who got ejected for whatever reason and they had no kids playing. Can someone get banned for mearly exercising his Right of Freedom of Speech? The answer is yes. I saw it happen. The next court case will be interesting. Come down off your high horse.

I know you do alot for PA gun rights so don't take offense to the high horse thing. Could you check with the lawyer that SFN had to get his views? Also I totally agree that SFN losing her LTCF was not right. I am glad she got it back. OC'ing at a soccer game is not a reason to pull it.

Actually, in the grand scheme of things, I don't do squat. Sadly the few things I do manage to get done seem more grand because many simply do nothing.

It's nice to see that trend slowly changing, but we've got a long way to go.
