LOL!

This would go over real well.

Next news headline...

"Man in Obama t-shirt attempts to disarm gun-toting soccer mom"

In all seriousness, I think these comments alone should compel a show of support for Melanie at the next soccer game.

I would cc a BUG.

It would be they who are causing a dangerous situation. Totally antithesis to what they are claiming for the good of the little 'uns.
No and i agree i was saying based on the facts in the article of fathers disarming anyone with a firearm. I wonder what little jimmy or susie would think when they saw dad try to disarm someone of their firearm by force and then get two in the chest...i think that would upset the kids.... but not as much as someone legally standing there with a holstered firearm, thats the worst!!!

Seriously i think if we did have a meet up to watch a soccer game at that park with Mel.....I can guarantee you that they would CANCLE that game almost immediately, without a doubt in my mind after all that has happened over this.

Definitely, we should be hands off because of this. The kids don't care. They want to play soccer.

It is not SFN but the other parents who have been acting irrationally, disturbed and threatening. They are the ones acting disorderly.

It's kinda like the vegan who won't let anyone eat or use animal parts (furs etc.) but secretly enjoys killing animals or has no problem with murder. They see a holstered gun as a threat and, even if lawful, the other soccer parents will threaten and use violence to remove the carrier.

How rational is that? So I do not trust some of these parents. And I hope the whole disarmament idea was a passing fart on their part.

Originally, I was against the idea of a lot people showing up OCing. After reading and posting against some of the more notable lunatics, I have changed my mind. Not only will it make the antis conform but SFN might need help in dealing with these yuppie scums.

Hopefully, the soccer crowd will see that the more the bitch, the more people will show up with OMG, guns! That just might make them go back to their own little Oz that they have created in their minds.

I usually don't resort to name calling but this has got to stop. I don't know how far they will go. These people are starting to scare me.

Kimba, and others,

I was thinking that some of us could show up CC, (Cause thats how I personnally roll), and if some cretin does try to disarm, confront or whatever, SFN, we could definately surprise them.

I'm getting more and more pissed by these idiots.

Melanie got her LTCF back, that's a great thing. She can now go to the games as she always did, cheering for her daughter, without further repression from the LEO community.

Personally I don't think an OC event at the game is a wise idea, as mentioned above the kids just want to play their game.

Folks showing up to OC in numbers is just the kind of "in your face" crap the antis want to further their agenda and show the world just the kind of gun nuts they think we are.

I don't think we need to say anymore to those who are to blind to see anyway. Let the kids play their game, without politics, and have a good time.

Bill

We went into this in the original thread, but anyway, I restate my objection to any kind of gun carrying activism at the soccer games. Kids games should be about kids and their families, not politics. Foolish people are making it about politics, but the solution is for them to knock it off, not for us to join them!

The idiots threatening to disarm Meleanie need to listen to themselves. "I'm afraid that a woman with a gun is dangerous, so I'm going to start a struggle for her gun in front of our kids!" Unbelievable. The best outcome is for people to stop freaking out and let Meleanie watch her kids play without being harassed. Showing up to give "support" is going to achieve the opposite outcome, I would bet money on it.
