Ummmm.... if some one is trying to take my gun by force they will be looking down the business end of a 9mm. Which would probably quickly change their mind or a blast of FOX labs OC to the face, plus they would have some explaining to do to police when they explain they tried to take my firearm...

Unreal they would actually try to do something like that

Me too. I spent quite a bit of time composing a supportive comment for SFN, and after not seeing it in an hour, although many other posts came in between I retyped it and submitted it again. When it failed to post the second time, I emailed and asked why. They said all comments were reviewed before posting so if I didn't use any profanity, maybe I was probably past the word limit (imagine that, me with a lengthy post), but then said they weren't sure what the limit was. IOW, the lazy bastards saw a whole bunch of words and didn't feel like reading them all. Then I tried to post a one sentence comment, and it also never posted. I changed my user name and posted the same comment, and it popped up in seconds.

Hmm...my post was 556 words (3308) characters, and it was posted. So far, it's the longest comment by a pretty good margin. I'm not buying their 'over the limit' argument. Sounds more like an intent to 'balance' the content.

These parents think it can't happen at a soccer game. But it can happen anywhere. I think of those poor Amish children at the Nichol mines school .. Although they wouldn't have a gun there but it shows that it happens at a place you wouldn't expect. Just my 2 cents.

They asked me about parents having "the right to feel safe". THAT's when I said that "They don't have that right".
So next time you're interviewed and that specific issue comes up, explicitly say "There is no such thing as a right to feel safe." and be sure that all your sentences can stand on their own.

Well I have jumped into the fray. I didn't count the letters on my screen name when I registered though, so I have been abbreviated.

That's the same conclusion I came up with when my subsequent posts also went to the bit bucket. Although it looks like the censors let a few thoughtful comments slip through from posters littering the thread with logic and reason, rather than rhetoric, based on the overwhelming number of fanatical inflamatory one line comments coming from both sides of the fence I deduced my screen name was flagged for not fanning the flames enough to keep the thread heated.

And yet right across the walkway from the "soccer field" that Thursday night is one of the area's of Lebanon with high drug use and crime area.... who would feel safe there without a gun is a question I'd ask.

Sorry I'll choose my carry over a cell phone every day, a lot of pooh can impact the cooling apparatus in the minutes it takes the LEO to get there.

It won't even let me log in. When I try I get a message saying that I am banned and refering me to the term of use.
I I contactd them to find out what I did was that soooo wrong
I normally try to keep my posts on the forums fact based and really try not to resort to personal attacks so I have no clue why I was banned.
