My FIRST day CC'ing!

Ok so today was the first day I was able to legally CC. I thought I was going to have some issues like always checking it or afraid that I would somehow knock the safety off or hit the mag release , but after i strapped it on I realized that all of these would be damn near impossible. We went to pick up our pellet stove and took the twins to burger king for a treat and then to look at a garage for sale to possibly start a business. After a few minutes I swear i just totally forgot about it , the only thing I did once in a while was to check to make sure no clothing had lifted up over it. Now i did not tell my wife I was carrying because I wanted to see if she would notice. When we got home from our errands I asked her if she noticed that I was carrying , she smiled and said "No , did you really have it with you today" , and then I lifted my clothing to show her. I didn't even worry about others , thinking they knew I was carrying , I just did everything like I normally would have and everything was fine , who would'a thought ??

Heh....I once read in a book that someone made a funny statement on CC'ing. They compared it to the first time a girl wore a mini skirt- Always checking and making sure everthing is in place, and making sure people don't see something they shouldn't! Anyways, thanks for sharing the story!

Give it a month... and you will feel naked without it! My gun is like my watch, wallet and keys now its alway with me. I used to walk out of the house in the morning being CCing and think wallet,watch,keys, and phone. Now it wallet, watch,keys, phone and GUN.

Some places have the saying you have to buy nachos while carrying your first time...I forget exactly why, but said to be part of the ritual. Maybe tomorrow then.
