I Had a talk with york police this morning.

After taking my daughter to daycare this morning i see the cop that drops his son off at the same school.we always say hi and small talk so he seemed cool..well i asked him this morning in between some small talk, does he know that open carry was legal..He then replied open carry is legal and you don't even need a ltcf to open carry. he did say i wouldn't recommend it because you have the upper hand should something happen.Then he looked at me very hard and said,why do you have a ltcf?Now at this point i answered yes.he said o.k. then yea you can carry concealed or oc if you really wanted too..I just thought that i would share this little minor conversation with you guys,it seems some york police do know open carry is legal.

He's probably working up to that conversation. I personally wouldn't want to jump right into that one. Get a feel for if the officers knows gun laws first.

exactly..i will ask him about the school when i pick my daughter up this afternoon if he is picking up his son too.i just wanted to see how he would act of me asking him a question about a firearm in general.he passed that test so now i will ask him about the school.wish me luck..
