BUG - Who carries and what?

I'm sure this has been discussed in the past but here it is anyhow...

Who carries a back-up gun and what is your bug?

My EDC is a Taurus 709 in an Alien Gear IWB, a spare mag in a knife case on my belt.

Thinking of using my PF9 as a bug. (I know there are/have been issues with KelTec reliability.... I must have one of the "lemons" .... after changing the extractor it has been reliable for the last 300 or so rounds.)

(The 709 and the KelTec PF9 are nearly identical in size, I slightly modify the KelTec mags and they function in my 709 and the PF9)

I either carry my LCP or a .38 derringer in my front pocket as a bug. My edc changes but it is usually some flavor of 1911. The bug stays with me pretty much anywhere whether I can carry my full size gun or not.

Can't really find fault in carrying some thing as a bug that shares mags with your edc. I choose to carry some thing that rides in my pocket easily and is pretty much undetectable. If you can comfortable carry both the Taurus and Kel-tec I'd say go for it.

I carry a Hi-Point and therefore DO NOT need a BUG

Every once in a while, I'll carry my Shield as a backup to my M&P9C.

Ruget LC9. Tricked it out a bit. Uninstalled and threw the rediculous magazine disconnect in the trash. Galloway Precision trigger bar and spring kit, RTK adjustable trigger. Galloway stainless steel guide rod and 18lbs recoil springs. It went from blah to tits in an hour. Trigger is 50% shorter overall and about a lb lighter. Reset is adjustable and I have it set just past its shortest point.

It DAO trigger is now very comparable to a HK P2000 DAO but shorter. I love it. Rescued it from a member here who didn't love her.

LCP pocket carry
G27 on the ankle when wearing long pants.
My reload mag is a 22 rounder with the extended base plate.
