It's pretty bad when people from York are commenting on how dangerous parts of Harrisburg are.

Seriously? You think York is bad? Take it you've never been to NE Philly on or around route 611....

Wasn't too bad in the middle of the day. Pretty quite. But yeah, not a good looking neighborhood at all anymore. Run down houses, collapsed and boarded houses. What a shame. Good bit of residents sitting out on their stoops in the middle of the day on a weekday. Sad.

capital was good. Went in by the fountain, checked my XDm with no issues. Asked for serial number which I didn't provide and no hassle when I went back for it.

Saw rep tom killion while there and got a short tour. Took us down onto the house floor (not allowed without a rep) and into the majority caucus room. Agreed with him on the gun issue and getting out of the liquor business but not about helmet laws which he supports. Oh well, can't win them all.

State museum was no problem. Called first to find out the policy on firearms since I didn't want to inconvenience my aunt and kids by walking over and being turned away but they were fine with it concealed so it wasn't a problem.

Saw harrisburg city officer once as they drive by and that was it. All in all a non issue.
