Default first time out

Left work early today to pick up my LTCF. took just over a month which wasnt too bad of a wait. anyway, decided to try out CCing for the first time. went to Border's and Target. all I have right now is a Taurus .38 and a $12 Blackhawk IWB holster I picked up just to get a feel for carrying but it works. not too comfortable in the truck while driving. had it about between 4:30 and 5 oclock. thinking about picking up a Ruger P95 for my next firearm and main carry choice. thats all for now, just wanted to share my first time story.

The P95 is a huge pistol. It may not be very comfortable for CC. That being said I sometimes CC my Taurus 24/7 Pro which isn't much if any smaller. OWB holster is preferable though.

Thanks for the input. I held one briefly on one occasion and would definitely inspect harder before buying. I really like the Springfield Mil-Spec but it is also rather large. as far as Wal-Mart goes, there are two close to me but they are both less than desirable shopping experiences. I miss the nice walmart in State College back in my PSU days.
