Good info, Steve. I was wondering what they were going to do, given the animosity that casinos typically have towards firearms.
Anyway, it's not likely that I'm going to hit a Penna casino anyway -- I don't play slots. This is kind of a thread-jack, but I've never understood why slots are ok, but table games aren't...

Two weeks after the first casino opened in Plains(Wilkes Barre), my wife and I visited and I carried during the visit. There were no signs that I saw, or detectors of any kind. There were two big dudes at the parlor entrance looking at ID's of younger folks(that counts me and the Mrs. out). It's a no brainer to figure that the casinos wouldn't want anyone to carry there. We saw lots of folks who looked to be a bit over the limit in the drink department. Slots are the foot in the door for Pennsylvania and some of the big cities will have full gambling venues. In the coming years the whole state will have full venues...Mike45

Although I do not go to casinos, it's good to know. Thanks.

I could care less about casinos....
But the one opening up here has a track. And I'm trying to convince the family that we should get another horse to race at the track. If so, I may in fact be by default carrying while in the casino. |

I live close to the new Philadelphia Park Casino. I don't have my permit, yet. But, this is good info to have. That's actually an area where I'd want to carry.
