Exclamation Re: FYI - Carrying in casinos

Same issue in Las Vegas - no guns in casinos! And on duty METRO Las Vegas police officers are NOT to enter any casino unless they have been called / dispatched to a specific casino (bad for business)- which is unlikely, as casinos take care of their own business. If the casinos see you with one of those stupid fanny gun packs you will be asked to leave or be arrested.

As to carry in casinos - thats why its called "CCW" Carry a concealed weapon! Its no good if its not concealed.

Here in Pa it's not a CCW it's a LTCF License To Carry Firearm. There are no laws against open carry in Pa, making it perfectly legal.

Thanks for clarifying. In Las Vegas - its CCW - And if the gun is properly concealed - you will not get stopped for carrying one unless you give them PC for a stop and search. And if you do, hopefully you will have the proper permits, licenses, CCW permit, LTCF etc. in that state.

When the casino in chester first opened the wife and I went there to see what it was about and I saw the signs. I left and have not been back since.

I did go home and look it up. Now I'm not a lawyer but as I read it, it was a gaming board regulation and not a law. The signs sure make it appear to be a law, but I think it's a bluff.

I pretty much think that gambling is a tax on people who are bad at math, so I don't gamble much anyway, but if I felt like carrying at a Pa casino, I would. Concealed means concealed after all.

Ted

ps. In Vegas it is a straight up law that you can't carry in a casino.
