But the one opening up here has a track. And I'm trying to convince the family that we should get another horse to race at the track. If so, I may in fact be by default carrying while in the casino.
There are two huge signs bracketing the doorway of the Casino on RT97 saying no guns etc etc..

And if you get caught? The signs specificly state no firearms unless your LEO.

the signs carry no weight of the law so all they can do is ask you to leave. Just like anywhere else.

From:
http://www.pgcb.state.pa.us/regulati...ons-Master.pdf page 115:
"The possession of a deadly weapon by any person (other than LEO) without the expressed written permission of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board is prohibited"

You can go be a rebel/martyr/whatever but you'll be the next one that everyone starts a "for legal funds" sale...

Jay, I'm pretty sure all they can do is ask you to leave, which any smart person would do. If you fail to do so, then they can charge you with trespassing. I can't see any harm conceal carrying and leaving when asked to leave.

ETA: One reason people are donating to the legal funds sale is so things like that cannot happen. I didn't see the move as rebel or anything, I saw it as a legal person following the laws (though it took MUCH courage to stand up as he did) and was charged for something that was illegal on the governments part. We shouldn't have to be a "rebel" if there is no law saying we are. Something to keep in mind

In regards to casinos and LEO's.......the only LEO's allowed to have weapons in the casinos, are on duty LEO's. I believe they would be required to contact someone on the floor first (not 100% sure on this). An off-duty LEO would not be allowed to have a weapon on the casino floor. However, the off-duty LEO, like the non-LEO would have broken no law by having a weapon on the casino floor. Both will be asked to leave and secure the weapon in their vehicle.

Considering it really isn't relevant to the thread, that's a pretty crappy thing to say and I'm going to call you on it.

If you get in legal trouble, at no fault of your own, due to a LEO not understanding the law(s) I bet you'll change your tune. And it CAN happen to YOU.

My point is .. why rock the boat? I read all these threads about OCing and think to myself that alot of the authors are sort of bragging that they OC'd. " I Oc'd at the mall today......" "I OC'd at xxxx....." Go back and read the threads. Does OC'ing make you a badass or something? Why do you people feel the need to announce you are carrying a gun to everyone? Does it make you feel stronger/like a big man/intimidating? Is there a major tactical advantage to OCing? Don't even give me the faster draw line either. With practice a concealed draw can be fast..

Flame on.......
