Default Fastest path to CC in Nevada

I'm going to Vegas early next month and they don't recognize our LTCF, so I'm trying to figure out if there is any way to get a permit that's good in Nevada before I go.

I know they accept Florida and Utah. Any chance of getting either of those before June 8?

Don't know about FL and UT but here is some info from a range in Las Vegas:

The Gun Store
2900 E. Tropicana Ave.
Las Vegas, NV 89121
702-454-1110
www.thegunstorelasvegas.com
Open 9AM-6:30PM every day

Their statement:
Nevada issues concealed firearms permits to residents of Nevade and residents of other states. We offer the required one day safety and liability course twice each week. Our class is also accepted training for resident and non-resident permits issued by Florida and Utah. These permits are also valid in over 30 other states. Please call us at 702-454-1110 to reserve your space for a specific class date. More information is available on our website: www.thegunstorelasvegas.com.

I go to this range (a full auto rental range) every time I'm in Vegas. They have a loads of stuff and are very good people. They are a full line retail gun shop along with the range.

They are about 3-3 1/2 miles from the MGM Grand on the left side of Tropicana.

Hope this helps.

I have the Utah permit, from the time I mailed all the needed info until the time the permit was in my hands 52 days had passed.

Keep in mind though, included in that mailing was proof of a Utah certified instruction class, a completed fingerprint card and passport style photo.

So long story short, no, you can't get a Utah permit by June 8.

To get you started, I believe that these are the only permits that Nevada honors. (If I understood the usacarry map correctly)

Quote:
Alaska, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, Tennessee, Utah
Someone already said Florida won't be fast enough. You have to take a class for Utah, so you probably can't get that in time, either. None of the others issue non-resident permits. Even Nevada requires training to get theirs. Unfortunately, it doesn't look good at this point in the game. If you can get a class quickly, try for Utah and hope for the best.

Crap. I figured I'd be screwed.

Hopefully there's no law against carrying spray. I'll take some Fox with me if it's allowed. I'll have to look into it.
