One problem I have with CC (yes CC) is that no matter what I put in my pocket, it prints, at least I think it goes.

As far as why I (sometimes) OC? Simple. I don't always feel like looking for a "cover garment" when my method of dress doesn't allow for it (e.g.: dress shirt & tie with dress slacks, without a suit coat because it's too hot for that, etc.)

For me, it's a matter of comfort most of the time.

Sometimes...yeah...I just do it because I can.

Sorry if my "rant" was due to recent events here at PAFOA. Not looking to offend you...just looking to protect our own here.

Speaking of fat, bears utilize it as body armor, thats why a COM shot to a fall bear with a .22 is akin to a bee sting and bothers the bear in no way since they are used to bee stings anytime they find honey LOL.

I too am guilty of being overweight, the pic of me with the 1911 is recent ( last summer). I carry my weight well though, actually in pretty good shape, but my damn sinus allergies will sometimes get a headache going while I am walking around vigorously. My metabolism is like a hybrid car- it burns slower and has alot of mileage LOL ( my doctor actually said that to me). Yeah I want to lose more weight, I am sick of looking bloated. Those old pics of me- woah- but looking at them I see how I was a bit skinny.

Someone a few pages back asked about the rifle- wasn't mine, I was just posing with it. The guy with me in the pic- it was his dad's.

I lived in PA for 2 years and was so in debt I couldn't even afford an LTCF! Let me live somewhere rent free and just over the line- hey I'll move! Anyone? Maybe I will discount your taxidermy work in return LOL, I could also muck stalls or something icky as rent LOL

If you visit OpenCarry.org, you'll see that every state has it's own sub-forum. VA has a strong OC following, and DE now has their own OC site. WV & KY are also two states where OC doesn't seem to stir too much excitement, as well as some of the states out west.

OC is definitely a growing trend, both in PA and elsewhere.
