I am in for an OC lucn/dinner in Phila. Especially in lite of the new Nutter laws. It would help bring light to the OC cause and dismiss any misunderstadings in PA.

So far in the past couple of days since my last post, I haven't had any issues while OC'ing. Tonight I walked around to the gas station on Torresdale Ave and Friendship Street to get smokes, as I was leaving someone asked me if I had my Act 235 or a cop, I said neither. He was surprised that I was OC'ing and asked if it was legal. I informed him of the laws or lack of about OC'ing and gave him the address of this site. Hopefully he'll be joining us shortly and can gain the knowledge that is here on the PAFOA.

WalMart, Roosevelt Blvd. - No sirens, no ninjas, no cops, no SWAT teams, no problems. Got a look from a blue shirt but nothing said. So far so good on the OC front here in Philly.

Philly,
I think it's great your OC'ing around philly. I grew up in Tacony and know this area well. Keep up the great posting and carry on!

I am new to the forum. I am amazed that you have OC in Philly. I am always leary to CC there. I want to take my son to a Phillies game and was debaiting even carrying at all. Now I know I will. But I will stick to CC. I have yet to see anybody OC.I need to go to Cabela's this week to get ammo for a mens retreat for my church. We do a lot of shooting. I think I might OC. It would be my first time. But I think a guy on a mobility scooter wouldn't be much of a threat to anyone anyway. LOL! But that is the reason I carry. I can look like an easy target on my scooter. Keep the updates coming. This is very interesting.

Bill,

Come to Philly and come armed. Phillies games may be an issue (don't remember if they wand at the park), but otherwise you'll have no problems.
