Default My Google-Fu Fails me, carry laws during travel in PA?

below assuming I've a AK CCW license.

1) are there any laws reguarding travelling via bus or taxi to a shooting range?
2) what about if I'm a passenger in another person's car?

Are there any places which a person may not carry a gun in PA which isn't a school courthouse, federal building? Are they unlawful in places which serve liquor?

Pa. Patriot made a very nice pamphlet regarding firearms rights and restrictions in PA, available here: http://www.pafoa.org/forum/concealed...carry-you.html

For carrying a gun in a car, you need a concealed-carry permit recognized by PA. Google "concealed-carry reciprocity". Carrying is okay, IIRC, in places that serve alcohol, but might not be smart idea unless you kept it well concealed.

ETA: PA reciprocity info here: http://www.attorneygeneral.gov/crime.aspx?id=184

AHA! Thank you greatly. I thank Pa Patriot as well.

AK has a recip with PA thankfully. I'll be exploring Pittsburgh during my time there, and don't want to be unprepared. I'll be getting together with old friends, so that was the other reason with the car and passenger question.

Thanks

Nope. For carrying a gun in a car, you need any license. It does not have to be from a reciprocal state to cover car carry.

PA is cool with AK ccw. Just don't flaunt it in philly they will hassle you. get the pamphlet plases you can't carry are on a short list. bars and restaurants are legal. Jails courthouses capital bldg. federal installations and parks fall under their rules.

Correct... Or you need to meet one of the other exceptions under 6106(b) such as going to or from place of hunting.
