Default p-11 holster

my buddy just turned 21 and put a kel-tec p-11 on hold at cabelas (PICS was down when we were there). he plans on applying for his LTCF this week and needs a holster. you guys got any suggestions on good holsters? not sure if he wants to carry IWB or what and me being 2 months from being 21, i dont have any advice him. any help would be appreciated.

If you get on the kel-tec website there is a link on the bottom for holsters. That will give you plenty of options and most of them are quite affordable. I was looking at the fobus paddle holster.

I also really like the belt clips. You can get one from kel-tec that attaches on the takedown pins. The option I got was a universal clipdraw that attaches securely with double sided tape and can be easily adjusted for depth of carry. If you get the clipdraw it is easily removed for holster use.

Although many on this forum do not like ebay, this is for a person who sells there that makes custom holsters, including for the kel-tecs. This is for an open OWB, but check his other auctions for styles, he makes many types and I believe all of them for the p-11. The auction # is 370030542180, just go the the main search page and search by the #.
I have 2 of his holsters, and the quality is great, very well built.

I use the belt clip. I was concerned that the gun would move around a lot, but with a good leather belt the gun is very stable.
