Default Lets see your jogging rigs.

Anyone run with a Thunderwear setup?

My wife runs every morning, and she wants to get a carry piece. There is a 2 mile stretch of road she hits that is very "spooky" is her term.

Were are looking to get a .380 or something like that in the 18oz range.

She is very concerned about comfort while in a run.

Thanks !

i don't have any pics (my digital camera broke and i haven't replaced it yet)...

but i just carry using an uncle mike's nylon IWB holster when running.

i use a pair of shorts (actually meant for climbing, but great for any activity) that has a nylon "belt" built in and it provides enough support to keep the gun from moving around while i run.

i find it perfectly comfortable and don't even notice it is there while running. (and you have much quicker access to the gun that you do with something like smartcarry/thunderwear/etc.)

your wife's mileage may vary, of course. (they only cost like $9, so it's worth a try...though she will need to use a pair of shorts that can support the holster).

Thunderwear with a Kel-Tec 3AT .380 is real hard to beat. IMO you need something that is lite enough so as to not bounce around when you are running. The Kel-Tec meets this need for me. I also carry a spare mag in the weak side pouch of the Thunderwear. That gives me 7 shots and a reload of 6.
