Re: Citizens Bank Park Policy Change?
Not sure who you talked to, but I just carried to CBP this past Sunday. I went to the Command Center ( at the Media/Emplyoee entrance on Darien St). Once inside I asked to check my firearm. They asked if I was LEO. After I said no, I was buzzed in and walked around behind the counter to the lock box room. They were trying out a new log sheet so it took a few minutes longer to record all the info. I was given a receipt and told to have a great time at the game. I returned after the game ( near section 107) and reclaimed my firearm and was on my way.
I have checked in my firearm four times this season at CBP and have never had any problem at all. The first time I was taken to the police lock up area. The past three times I have checked in at the Command Center just inside the exterior door. All of the people I have talked to there have been nothing but nice and poilte.
I looked over the shoulder of the lady who gave me my firearm back and noticed that I was the only one who had checked a weapon in that day. Hmmmmmm.

Re: Citizens Bank Park Policy Change?
I guess I never even thought about it, I'm retired Philly PD and only a few times of going down to CBP I carried, They missed on the pat down and I made it thru the game, I now know I should be asking to check it!! I wonder if they say the lockers are for LEO only, if they"ll extend to retired LEO.
However, If I got thru the pat down, I'm sure others do too, which makes me a bit uneasy having to check mine! I think if you are legally allowed to carry they should allow you to keep it with you, unless of course you are drinking (a lot), I can understand not being allowed to carry then.
Just my .02 cents, which isn't even woth that!!Body Piercing by Glock!!
